Applications Engineer

Comsol, Inc. in Burlington, MA seeks Applications Engineer to supply computational Multiphysics models to clients.

Primary responsibilities

• Supply computational Multiphysics models to clients from academia and industry as proofs of concept for incorporating COMSOL Multiphysics into research and teaching.
• Provide technical support for users of COMSOL software products.
• Present seminars at major universities.
• Attend professional conferences and exhibitions.
• Maintain database of existing and potential customers.
• Provide software sales to customers.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Engineering or related & relevant engineering experience Expertise w/ Comsol Multiphysics or Matlab
• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemistry or related field and one year experience in job or in computational physics, computer-aided engineering, software engineering or related.
• Must have published at least 3 peer-reviewed journal publications
